Helping Hands (August 2024)

This summer, The Church of St.John the Evangelist was as busy as always!

Our services continue with Low Masses on weekdays and Saturdays, and with Sung Mass on Sundays. We look forward to gathering together on August 15 to celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We invite friends of St. John’s who are in town to come join us!

Outside our building, work continues. Earlier in the spring, a day was devoted to tidying up the garden in the front and planting it with an array of flowers.

More recently, members of the church’s Building Committee, The Guild of St. Jude’s, and parishioners devoted a day to clean up and beautify the exterior of St. John’s. Thanks to everyone involved!
